PBHQ, a software and marketing platform built specifically for paintball fields, has signed Blast Camp Paintball onto its premium booking software. The agreement adds one of the longest-running paintball facilities in the country to the growing roster of fields operating on the PBHQ platform during its early public launch. The news that PBHQ Signs Blast Camp Paintball to Premium Software marks another step in the company’s rollout to field operators.
Blast Camp Paintball has operated since 1988 and offers ten unique fields, paintball every weekend, airsoft on Sundays, and year-round availability. The facility sits on a historic national landmark that once served as a Cold War Nike missile defense base. It hosts private groups for birthday parties, bachelor and bachelorette parties, youth groups, family reunions, and corporate events, and it also offers low impact paintball, scenario events, and a competitive league.

With the transition, Blast Camp will use the PBHQ platform to manage 24/7 online booking, digital waivers signed before arrival, a self check-in kiosk, and event management that includes live capacity tracking and team registration. The system also provides reporting on bookings, revenue, and player counts. Payments connect directly to the field’s own Stripe or Square account, meaning PBHQ never holds a field’s revenue.
The addition of a facility with decades of operating history reflects the platform’s focus on the specific demands of running a paintball field. Scheduling across ten fields, coordinating weekend paintball alongside Sunday airsoft, and managing large private groups require tools designed for the sport rather than general-purpose booking software.
“Blast Camp has been running since 1988, and bringing a field with that kind of history onto the platform speaks to the operational needs fields actually have,” said Trevor Convirs, founder of PBHQ. “The goal has always been to handle the booking, waivers, and check-in work so that owners can spend their time running the field and growing the sport.”
Convirs, a former senior software engineer in financial technology, grew up helping run paintball fields. He built the platform to combine that operational background with experience in building software systems. The platform’s six core components include online booking, digital waivers, a check-in kiosk, event management, payment processing, and a reporting dashboard.
“Keeping revenue in the field owner’s own account was a deliberate decision,” Convirs said. “Money moves directly through the owner’s existing payment processor, so there is no middle layer holding funds. That structure matters to operators who have spent years building their business.”
PBHQ is in the early stages of its public launch and is deliberately limiting how many fields join during this period. Alongside its software, the company offers marketing services built for paintball fields, including custom website development, Google Ads, Meta Ads, and automated email and text campaigns. It also publishes PBHQ Field Intelligence, which aggregates survey data from fields nationwide and shares seasonal benchmark reports, pricing surveys, and growth insights with the community at no cost.
PBHQ was founded by Trevor Convirs and Dewayne Convirs, the creator of Oklahoma D-Day, a long-running scenario paintball event. The company provides an integrated system that brings booking, waivers, events, payments, and reporting together in one place, built specifically for the paintball industry.
